Is there a way to have multiple turnouts change at the same time. Basically I want to route my train to a certain path and instead of changing multiple turnouts individually I can change them with one click. I have the CS3.

I have a CS2 and what you are describing is easily accomplished with the Memory screen. For every button on the screen(s) you can program the switch positions, signal positions, etc. for your desired route. When you push that button after it is programmed, it will sequence through the program list item by item and will indicate in green when the functions have all been carried out. The only caution is that you can only program a single device once. If for example you have a SW10 set to turnout, sequence through the whole route and then want to reset SW10 to straight, you will not have this SW10 in the turnout position when you start.

I assume the newer CS3 will have something similar.

Of course you can do it with CS3.

Is very well documented in the CS3 manual page 15 and on

In General you can do "EVENTS" (scenarios) to include switches, signals, etc and you can activate them with a single button.

You can use the same solenoid item in many "events" etc

Is really very easy to program "events" and also you can edit them later

Assuming that you have decoders and motors on them and some kind of control station that recognizes the decoders simply assign both decoders the same memory address.

In olden times, for analogue control, I used to do it with diode matrixes. It is a lot easier with digital control stations and easier to modify if you add or remove a turnout.

It may be a "quick and dirty" solution. Later during operation one will find rapidly it is not convenient. Better using the memory feature on a divice like CS2, CS3, ECOS
