Hi, are there wide turnouts with a centre movable arm on German railways ? Like the early märklin turnouts

If you mean Märklin high-speed turnouts with a mobile frog, then the answer is not anymore on K Track and never for C Track

The question was about German railways. German railways use Krupp rails (and others), not Märklin rails. Cool

Here is a (not so good) picture of a high-speed turnout in Germany:

There is a moveable frog - with it's own lantern. Frog is close to the left edge, lantern on the right side of the track.
The tongue of the turnout also has a lantern. It is close to the left edge of the picture.

Location: Köln-Steinstraße, km 10.2 of the highspeed line from Cologne to Frankfurt.
