The basic geometry is the same, when the 5137 is used with the accompanying 7,5º curve piece. However, the 5137 is much more flexible in use, as the curve piece can be omitted or installed in a different manner. Please look through one of the MANY MANY MANY (...) old Märklin catalogues that are available online, to read about the M-track geometry.
