Is it possible to use turnout motors from M rail and use them in C rails? Reliably?
Of course best answer to my question is try it for myself but with the hobby’s costs rocketing and the fact I must down size from tons of M to a large shelf railway in C, I’d like input because I don’t want to wreck M turnouts unnecessarily. Thanks Steve

i don't think so. The M solenoids are rather delicate and the C turnout has no shelter for it. On the M, it is encased within the turnout body. On the C, the motor is a self contained add on.
