My ice train long center cars rube on the vintage M turnouts semaphore. Is there something that can be done to modify and resolve this issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By semaphore, do you mean the throw lever that is used to change the turnout?

By semaphore he might be referring to the lantern. I had that problem with some long Fleischmann cars rubbing on the lantern when they were going in the thrown direction (not straight through).

Märklin made m track turnouts with small lanterns when the introduced the 27cm coaches. Unless you want to replace the turnouts, your only option would be to remove the lantern assembly

My first thought was the turnouts with the larger lanterns are causing the problem. The only fix is to replace them with the newer turnouts with the smaller lanterns. I had to do this with mine when I had trouble with long coaches catching.
