If some people here bought those models ( I guess there are some ) I invite them to verify how is the undercarriage and chassis , run the finger over it ( you could feel some bumps or undulations ), see if there is a space between chassis and body.
It is said that it is because of too much glue ( many times customers said them how astonished they were of the use of too much glue in assemblying ), some say it comes from quality of plastics .( management prefers to concede that it is glue...)
If some customers didn't notice anything yet, I suggest them to open ( or try to open ) and to get ride of the glue ( a chemical reaction , probably a slow process between plastic & glue ). It is neoprene glue , not too hard to be eliminated . Only as a preventive action in case of "glue hypothesis" is the right one , which is not so sure . ( Their quality of plastics has been also criticised on various items too)
This time , The management cannot hide and have to face up to their responsibilities . So , they offer to replace...: warped parts ( only ).If you got these problems , they offer to send your retailer new parts to replace incriminated parts ...

They wouldn't survive rough treatment, but they're scale models with fine detailing. You can get them onto the layout without worrying about breakages and they look great. I just wish I'd managed to get hold of the other GC coach pack as that included the generator van (essential for an accurate train, it powered all the on train systems such as air conditioning!).
