http://www.lsmodels.com/Pages/General_F/Home_F.htm today shows final prototype models for the upgraded SBB RIC coaches. These coaches were built starting in 1972. A number were delivered painted in the orange "Eurofima C1" livery at the end of the 1970s/early 1980s. They were converted in the 1990s for Inland use. The compartments were converted to an open seating layout similar to the EWIV coaches and the coaches were used in non-push pull express, and as Kurswagen on international trains crossing Switzerland. The models pictured represent this conversion and the most recent appearance of these coaches. At one point, some of these coaches were leased for use in Austria (OBB/Montafon?) and in Italy (FNM).

There are also new details about OBB and CNL coaches added to the site.

Regards

Mike C
