That one and the Self Service variant have already been released by Piko. Even though I already have the Piko one (with EWI coaches), I will probably pick up the LSM one to go with my EWIV rolling stock. I don't think I will go for the Calanda Land version. I think I can do without that one. The original version can go with my Era III rolling stock. The WRm Donauwörth only entered service in 1965. The Era IV version will go with mixed rolling stock for the period 1968-1979 The newer versions can be used with any 80s/90s consist depending on the time frame. They will come in handy as there was a gap between the original EWIV Restaurant, which was only available in 1/100 and 1:93.5 and the production version, meaning that there is a dearth of models for the time frame 1985-1990. I had been using the LSM WRm in C1 orange and the Liliput adapted upgrade of the EWIII Restaurant. Regards Mike C

An interesting point: Who makes/made the corresponding coaches in full 1/87? Were the Roco ones not full length? HAG I believe was 1/93. Liliput and Lima I'm not sure, but possibly 1/93?
I have the HAG COOP diner, but if I remember right that is 1/93, and a different model entirely? |

Here is a pretty comprehensive of SBB Restaurant models that were made in DC: http://gamos81.altervist...rozze/SBB/Ristorante.htmThe list does not include the WRm RIC (Donauwörth) in Orange C1 (47235 and other sets) or in Red (47219 and 47234). All models AFAIK listed are 1/87 exact scale. The reduced scale length models (Roco 44228/44473) and Hag (McDonalds/Coop) were rendered in 1/93.5. Staiber also did a limited edition repaint of the Roco prototype EWIV WR for international traffic in several versions. Liliput (Vienna)/Liliput Herpa also had an EWIII Restaurant in red/white EWIV colors. Wabu had a version of a lightsteel restaurant in the red/white EWIV colors. The LS models Restaurants will definitely allow me to create some new consists. Regards Mike C
