The cars are not Marklin, but they look nice!

The RE 800 is Marklin, and is EXTREMELY valuable. I believe it was made 50-52, and there were two versions, with the minor difference being the RE 800 being written on a black brackgound, or a green one like in your image.

I think that should be qualified before we get too excited here. The RE 800 sells on eBay.de just about every week anywhere from 600 - 1,000 EUR which to some is not extremely valuable but to others is.

The other cars and clockwork locos don't look to be Marklin.

Paul

Well, it is a lot of money to me. I know how many hours I have to work to earn that much, and it would be hard to justify on a locomotive Bored

You're right, it is a lot of money to me too! That is why I said that it is a lot of money to some people, but to say "extremely valuable" is relative to each person and I didn't want Kuba to think he had a locomotive he could retire on because knowing the value of some Marklin locomotives, it is entirely possible!

Best regards,

Paul

i was asked to give an offer if i want to buy them can u advise me what money i can offer for such fine pices. I cannot offer some silly low prices,as a guy knows they can be valuable , so need to offer good price.

for the re800 hard to say, notcied on ebay prices from 800 to even 1400 euro with original box ( shown on my picture ) , so what do u think? and what about cars? can u help me with this. thx.

Is the "quick offer" any good based on the research you've done?

Concerning the cars ... the couplers look awfully like the loop type found on Hornby and/or Meccano 0 scale items, without the hook ...

Are not Marklin for sure.

Their worth ? I have no idea for H0 scale.

The locos, other than RE800, are too far away to tell ... need more detailed pix.

Hi,
The cars are from the French company VB.
Have a look here (in French):

Hi,
I regularly see HO scale VB wagons (which are made of metal) on French eBay (Buy it Now) for around 100Euros and upward.
If they are O gauge, they are likely to be JEP brand.

I confirm that the 3 wagons on the first post were made by VB.
the price of the first could be between 50 to 100 € (but it seems bent on the picture and if it's the price should be lowered), the second could be higher 60 to 120 €, the third is really commun price between 20 and 40€.
The fact there're still with the boxes is important and have been taken in considération to give those prices.
Regards.

Hi,

Though others here certainly have more information on it, looks like an RE 800.2 because of the "Aufschrift RE 800 auf grünem Schild" (translation: "Label RE 800 on green shield") ... dated 1952-1953 ... and priced by Koll's at 1100€ (RE 800.1 = 1400€) ... ^^ Scared

You can see the difference for yourself here : http://www.bigio.it/Electrische/RE-800/RE-800.htm

Hope that helps ^^

Thank U for your help :)

The wagons are also VB, the passenger car seems to be PMP or Rateau.
The tracks are VB and can be fit with any Marklin M track.
Price of the first wagon is 140 to 220 € +
second is 60 to 120 €
third 60 to 130 €
fourth is 40 to 110 €
the track is the same price than M track from the 60s
passenger car should be identified for sure first.
