Hello Friends, Is it possible to use arc and truss bridges meant for M tracks to be used on a C track layout ? Marklin part # 7263 ( arc ) / 7268 ( truss ) & 7269 ( curve ) Regards, Rohit

Hi Rohit, I have the old bridges designed for M track. When I replaced my M track with new C track, I encountered the problem that the track would not sit correctly in the M track bridges. The base of the C track is just that wee bit too wide. I found a way around that. Place the C track horizontally in a cushioned vice so not too damage the track. Take a Surform (rasp file) and slowly shave off the sides of the C track. Do it slowly, checking after each rasp. Once you have removed what looks like a flat amount of about 1/10 inch on each side, you should find that the track fits in the bridge. It is not brilliant, but is effective enough. It is also a lot cheaper than new bridges. Alan

Hi Friends, At the outset I want to thank for everyone again for their suggestions and guidance. I just wanted to inform that I ended up buying a NOCH 21320 HO bridge. It is the same size as MARKLIN 74636 in length which is about 360mm. At 17 EUR It costs less than MARKLIN and is a perfect fit for MARKLIN 'C' track system. Attaching a few photographs for reference. Cheers !
