I have not seen this company mentioned elsewhere on the Forum, and in view of Noch now moving to bridges laser cut from cardboard, I am sure I am not the only person in the forum looking for some excitement in my bridges and footbridges. I found this company through a dealer on Ebay and it seems all the bridges are made of metal. I recently received one of the small ones, which I took to the October gathering at Baden-Württemberg, and I would say that the quality was just as good as a small plastic bridge from Faller or Noch.

So if these appeal to you;

They look great! Pity I don't need a bridge on my 2D layout! Sad

Hi all,

Good that this topic is being brought up here. I did already know Hack bridges before and have to admit I am very pleased with how they look. The bridges are mostly sturdy enough to support a heavy H0 train without any issues and look more to scale as the material is a lot thinner compared to its plastic competitors. Slight downside would be that the ones I have laid my hands on before did have some sharp edges, finishing could be a little better. However, I would still recommend those bridges, especially if you are looking for a bridge to span a larger gap, for instance between tables.

Looking forward to seeing some pictures of those bridges build into layouts. Anyone who has actually used one of those already?

Cheers,
Sander

I Have a metal bridge made by Vollmer and I think they have more than one in their range. Dont have the catalogue to hand at present.

Hello,

I have this bridges too. I like them because they are veryy filigree. But those bridges should better be placed not in the front of the layout, because they are not detailed. The metal profiles are just soldered together and painted. No rivet or rivet plates imitations, no wood imitations, nothing. Just soldered profiles, what does not look very prototipical.

I have 2 bridges of the 4th picture in your thread.
