How much time your locos keep on smoking when you fill the generator? My 3315 (BR50) doesn't go over 30-40 seconds. I suspect I've to adjust some CVs in its lokpilot. Pietro

If it smokes a LOT and doesnt last long the little smoker tube is blocked.Seuthe includes a tube and cleaner with every smoker you buy.Just clean the tube. |

Thank you Steven and Cahrles. But it still semmes strange to me, because the smoke generator is the same to BR03.
Besides, on a digital locos I expect a more uniform behaviour.
Are your br 50 analog? Mine is digital with Lokpilot 2.0.
Te smoker is connected to F1, and I set the Cv 115 wit value 111 (smoke generator, 15 V). I don't know what kind of changes in output are made by this "smoke generator" option!

Hi all,
On my digital steamer (37973 Mikado) with a 72270 smoke generator I usually have smoke for 3 - 5 minutes. The smoke generator is filled with 0.2 milliliter of smoke oil (Volmer).
This seems to be the maximum quantity of smoke oil for the 72270 generator. More oil will "drown" the filament.
