Is the Marklin 02421 smoke fluid ok to use with Märklin HO locomotives? The only reason I ask is the bottle has the Märklin 1 logo on it and I want to make sure it’s not “special” fluid used just in Marklin1 locomotives.
Thanks |

That particular smoke fluid is a lightweight smoke fluid designed for Marklin 1 Gauge locos with cylinder steam.
From the Marklin Product Database:
"This is a large refill bottle with 250 ml / 8.45 oz. especially for 1 Gauge models with cylinder steam or for all smoke units. You can find information on hazard warnings and the safety data sheet in the instructions / operating manual."
It does say in that description that it is "for all smoke units", so may work OK in H0 smoke units. Try it and see.

Thanks. I’ll give it a try, just wanted to make sure it wouldn’t harm anything. Thanks again. |
