It looks a little toy-like. I have a few Piko models, mainly the Swiss stuff made in collaboration with Arwico.
I know that the Roco AC models these days are mostly factory delivered with digital sound, which accounts for the price difference from a basic decoder or analog model.
The Piko model should run fine on C Track.

It looks no worse than an old Marklin 3300 or 3400 series br216 with a plastic body. I have a Piko basic "Hobby" digital a/c Taurus. It was also inexpensive. It does have cab interiors. Thye run very well, and I expect the expert models with newer decoeders, and speed compensation even better. I also have a Pivko DC analog VT 612 railcar. excelent runner, and interior lighting included.

I have a Hobby line Taurus (182) as well and I can also recommend it. I've got a couple of Expert ones as well (E41 and something else I can't recall) and I'd say the difference was in the detail and features, the basic running of the Hobby loco is just as good. My first Piko loco was an SNCF 67000 diesel from a DC start set which I managed to convert for 3 rail and I was very impressed with it. Conversion was very simple too.
