Piko/Arwico has announced a 5 coach set for the "Zugkraft Aargau" commuter train. This train was famously pulled by a specially painted Re 4/4II in matching colours. The Re 4/4II was for years available from Hag and more recently from Maerklin as 37306 (2019). https://www.maerklin.de/...te/details/article/37306

The Piko coach set contains one EWI First Class coach, three EWI B Second Class coaches and a pilot coach, all in the special livery,

96618: Set DC with interior lights
96619: Set AC with interior lights and current conducting couplers*

*The AC pilot coach comes with a function decoder which controls the interior lights and head/taillights of the model.
I do not know if this also controls the interior lights of the other coaches in the consist via the current conducting couplers.
(The prior set of BLS "Goldenpass" coaches did not come with a pilot coach)

From what I have been able to gather, this is a limited production for the Swiss importer/distributor (ARWICO) and will primarily be available in Switzerland.
European dealers may be able to order these items from ARWICO directly. AFAIK these sets will not go through regular Piko channels.

If anybody is looking for the 37306, I have seen a few dealers who list it as in stock. Contact me for details.
