Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions for a brand or type of ballast for Z scale? That's my next big job |

I would check and see what woodland scenics has to offer. I know they make ballast suitable for N-scale. So they may have a small enough grain for Z as well.

I was going to suggest sand but I see that Heine has beaten me to it. Nice.. |

Thanks everyone for the responses.
Heine, thanks for the detailed "how to". That looks like it will be a great layout!
Rowan, I've just bought myself a one kilo jar of Chuck's - "Bombo Fine". It's a bit dark, but I can tone it down a bit with the same grime/brown wash I'm going to use on the rails and sleepers. |
