Hello again,
I am in the process of building a new layout with C-track. Could anyone of you recommend a ballast type that matches in size and colour the one reproduced on the C-track roadbed?

What about Busch #7069,as Thanos have used? See some pictures in "My H0 Layout" further down in the topic list.

I have used Busch #7069 (I am very satisfied) but there's also a similar product by Heki.
