Hello all. In the near future I would like to work my T/T digital and I see Fleischmann will be bringing out a pre-selector in month 8 that will work with marklin is this a good idea or should I go with marklin if so what do marklin suggest I use. I think I have read some were they have a problem. PS I have just come back from the holly land [Goppingen] spent out. |

Dale, you have done it again! very nice diagrams and an excellent way to solve the problem. The Fleischman unit will retail for over 125. US |

Hi, I have very good experiences with the Boll's decoder, described under : http://www.bmbtechnik.de/spezial.htmlhttp://www.digital-bahn.de/bau_ds/drehsb.htmunfortunately in German. The nice thing is that the decoder is built into the TT, so rendering it more powerfull (lights can be switched separately, the signal lights really work marvelous etc.) Thought we had a discussion on this in the past, but do not remember where. Just wanted to share a pic of my TT, with the Boll's decoder in it (not noticable ), but with a Viessmann working signal, and a light in the driver's cabin (switchable). A very nice feature of the decoder is that the signal turns red when turning, and, after stopping, it takes half a second to become white. Nice and cool . Also the speed slows down when approaching the destination rail connection... And, ... it works on the standard Marklin keyboard (6040, if I'm not mistaking in numbers - sorry, my weakness [8)] ) Bob

Hi Charles, I used a k84 to control my turntable see http://members.ozemail.c...rossstew/rms/wiring.htmland look for "Interface k84 Decoder to 6652 Fleischmann Turntable With Manual Overide" You could also use a k83 with one 2 pole change over relay for the CW/CCW part and one 1 pole change over relay for the on/off Under my tips section you will find how I controlled it and positioned the s88 contacts. Regards Ross |
