I just read the Ecos manual add-on for turntable control, that it accpets two types of turntables: one controlled via the traditional 7687 decoder, the second controlled with a Lokpilot. I'm in the second case, since I converted my TT with exactly a Lokpilot (https://www.marklin-users.net/forum/default.aspx?g=posts&t=5998).

The add-on manual, despite referring that possibility, it doesn't go into anymore detail. Could some Ecos owner around here tell me about the the Ecos menu options available for a TT with a Lokpilot?

Thanks already!

Luis

Hi Luis,

As you know I have an ecos but I have no TT. ESU has not 'officially' released a schematic for how to connect a turntable, but some members on their support forum have found how to connect the lokpilot and make it compatible with the ecos steering software.

Too bad that unless you have an ecos you can't have access to that forum. If I have time later I will look for the manual and make it available...

Luis,

Here is the documentation for how to use a lokpilot from the forum. Keep in mind, this comes from a member, not from ESU themselves.

Connection: (for fleishmann TT, which is the same as M* TT)

Bert,

Thank you! It seems I won't need to do any modifications to my setup then IF Märklin comes out with a similar update to Ecos'.

Currently I control my TT as if it were a locomotive, it would be superb to have a graphical interface to control it.

Lutz, if you're reading this, do you have any idea if the CS will have a TT control update too?

Luis
