Hi! Originally Posted by: kumarvartak Please let me know the details of what one means by Epoch !, Epoch II and so on is there a site which gives the details. As far as I know those eras are defined by MOROP and published in the NEM (which are available in German and French, the English version is outdated). The Märklin definition varies slightly from the NEM definition, but is accurate enough for most people (and matches the symbols in the Märklin catalogue). |

So, if you find or have an English catalog...... For example, if you have the 2015/2016 Marklin catalog, the description of eras is on page 451. Be aware.... Or you can visit the Marklin US website Lasse refers to. As for the Morop site, if you click on the English flag you get..... "Dear Railfan, Unfortunately, due to a lack of time, we're not able to provide you with the norms. Please refer to the french or to the german versions. We apologize for the inconvenience. We are looking for English native speakers volunteers. The Morop Staff, Octobre 15th 2011 "
