I really don't know, but I guess around 30-40 passenger cars and 70-80 freight cars. A little over twenty of the freight cars are refrigerator cars. I sort of feel that I have enough, even though the Ep. III Langenschwalbacher cars are very tempting.

An exact count is not possible at this time because my computer list got accidentally wiped from my machine by the computer dorks that maintain the computers at work. So I've been reconstructing from a list over two years old. In addition, I've sold quite a few last year. But at last count, I recall that I had over 1100 (but have sold some).

Of course more are "coming home" all the time!

Another thread that won't die off!

Update: 1118 Freight cars and 347 passenger cars. Not counting the ones that are currently on the way.............pretty sick, huh?[xx(]

But it's a disease. I'd go to MA (marklin anonymous), but I really don't want to kick the habit.[:I]

If I had a Goliath crane, I would have counted it as a goods wagon. And the Goliath was digital, wasn't it ? And the new crane (46715) is digital (yes, I know it is not avalable yet).

If there are other digital goods wagons, I don't know. As I said, I don't have any.

[:0][:0][:0]biggrinbiggrinbiggrin Congratulations! I suppose if you play with them, you need

- Around 200 meters of track to put them all on the rails,

- A whole weekend to do so,

- 10 Big Boys to pull that train (I have red somewhere a Big Boy can pull 150 cars),

- 1 MS Cool

I have 46 freight cars in total, and that's already hard to play with them all on my layout. biggrin

That's correct. These are my "first generation" conversions with genuine Märklin trucks and NEM couplers. They are fully compatible with M tracks and turnouts. I will probably announce their sale in the new "I want to sell" section of the forum with detailled pictures, but you will have to wait till January, I think.wink

Nice additions.
My count stands at an underwhelming 26.

I had a major re-count on my collection:

Märklin H0, update July 16th 2007:
285 cars from "single boxes" (boxes containing only one car)
209 cars from car sets
51 cars from train sets
545 Märklin H0 cars in total

Other H0:
25 cars from different manufactorers, like Klein, Lux, Roco etc.

Grand total: 570 cars
I hope my counting is correct this time biggrin
Best regards Svein, Norway
