Hello All...I am looking for the correct Marklin Control Box (72710, 72730 or 72740) to control Marklin Home Signal 70392, C Track Turnout Motor 74491 and building interior lights. Thanks for any tips and advise !!
Regards, Dietrich

Hi Dietrich
The control boxes and their use:
  • 72710 is to drive a solenoid item (switch motor, etc) with a end position switch. It shows the item's position using green and red LEDs. It is ideal to drive a C switch motor 74491 on an analogue layout

  • 72730 are independent switches to turn ON or OFF the power in a track section (garage). It is ideal for turning ON /OFF the lights in houses

  • 72740 is identical to 72730 with one exception: all switches share the same common (usually the B track voltage or the L accessory voltage

To drive digital signals (like the 70392) on an analog layout, the 72760 is needed
Cheers
Jean
