I only have LokProgrammer and ESU Switchpilot Servo connected together but when I have to test servo in Drivers cab
and then select the turnout control panel and set the correct switch address and switch number and then press GO,
but nothing happens when I press A or B I can read and write CV.
I have an AC adapter connected to LokProgrammer
What am I doing wrong

Regards Peter

Have you looped the lokprogrammer wires in parallel on the switchpilot servo from the 2 digital input wires to the 2 power feed inputs so that all 4 terminals are connected?
Ie. the switchpilot servo has 4 connections- 2 wires for digital input and 2 wires for power. You have connected from lokprogrammer to the digital inputs which lets you read/write to the switchpilot but for the motor to activate you need to loop the digital input to the power feed as well (lokprogrammer to power the servo too)

I am bumping this thread for new info.

I have an existing ESU Switchpilot Servo 2 from which I used a spare servo output to set up the servos that I have installed in my 6 stall roundhouse to operate the doors. While I wait for the new ESU Servo 3 decoder with the 8 servo outputs I wanted to save the CV values from this existing unit so that I could easily set up the Servo 3 when it finally arrives later this year or next year.

I connected this SP Servo 2 decoder to the Lokprogrammer to read the decoder data and all I get is an error message saying that the decoder detected is an unsupported decoder. What possibly could be wrong? I have the data cable plugged in between the laptop and the Lokprogrammer, the power supply connected to the Lokprogrammer and the 2 wires from the Lokprogrammer to the SP Servo 2 Trk A & B terminals.

I really don't want to tear off the roof on my roundhouse when the SP 3 arrives to disconnect the servos from the mechanisms in order to set them up again.

I have a CS2, so I really can't read the CVs off of it.

Ideas?

Never mind. I figured it out. It was the Trk A & B connection that was the error.
