Looks like the chassis for an old wireless set.

Looks like remains from Alcatraz prison, prisoners who have been on death row, slept on this electric bed frame.

Power distribution board of some sort. Probably homemade.

Definitely not something Marklin produced. Possibly Marklin wiring, but almost all small-gauge wiring looked like that in the 1930s-1940s.

Looks to be more than "homemade" but why are the 2 metal parts not paralell and have 2 different hole sizes ?

Could it be 220 volts ?

well one of the bars have come loose on this piece. The other one is exactly the same, but the bars are parallel. Same wood bottom and same maroon frame.

This is the part that throws me off. The wiring is the same.

I have this unused piece of wiring with the same pattern on the cloth wire.

but then again the design matches up with the wiring to these same period Kibri buildings.

I will guess that this is a generic light bulb holder - to accept lights of varying diameter - and with contacts on either side. place the box in a house, push light in as far as it goes....

Hi,

It is an electrical distributor made by KIBRI, Germany. I found this boxed example on a toy-market near the Stuttgart Airport today. It has also holes for the smaller 00-gauge plugs, so I would estimate it made in the late 1930s.

Looking at the sketch on the top of the box everybody understands the function. "D.R.G.M Ges. Gesch." stands for a patented design protected by law.
