Thanks Thomas for the link, it seems to me very strange that
they do not keep their own page, I also visited TRIX website
and I can fund absolutely nothing about their Fine Art branch.

When did they closed this product line? why? I will apppreciate if somebody can bring more info or related website links.

Thanks to all that has welcomed me.
Regards
David

Hello David,

as far as I know the fine art product range was produced from 1995 until 2001.

Trix produced the following items (I don't know whether this is a complete list):

199? _____22498_____ S 2/5 K.Bay.Sts.B (DC only)
199? _____22499_____ A I Crampton "Bavaria" K.Bay.Sts.B (DC only)
199? _____22423_____ Steam loco "Pölnitz" Crampton Pfalzbahn (DC only)
1997 _____42290_____ ES 6 Halle KPEV
1998 _____42219_____ "Drache" Steam Loco Ep.I
1998 ____ 42227 ____ T 16 1980 Erfurt KPEV
1999 ____ 42234 ____ XV HTV K.Sächs.St.B.
1999 ____ 42264 ____ BR 79 001 DRG
1999 ____ 42220 ____ S 2/6 3201 K.Bay.Sts.B
2000 ____ 42222 ____ XVIII H K.Sächs.St.B.
2000 ____ 42223 ____ T 18 1002 DRG
2001 ____ 42224 ____ BR 23 001 DRG
2001 ____ 42225 ____ H 45 024 DR

I guess Trix stopped these fine art locos, because they were expensive to produce (hand made in many parts) and had an expensive price on the market. So, the number of those who could afford them, was quite limited and, furthermore, thes customers would probably have bought more Fulgurex, Lemaco, MicroMetakit etc.

They do have some interesting items, that I would hope to see as a normal marklin / brawa model some time. I just like to look and see various locomotives, and let the possibilities flow.
