MARKLIN CS 3 / 3+ - SD-CARD SPECIFIKATIONS :SD-CARD (
Maximum 32 GB ) - Mini SD-Card can alos be used with the supplied "Adapter" for the Mini SD-Card
Remember that the SD-CARD must not be "
Locked" for Writing ( Push the Slider on the SD-Card to allow Writing to the SD-Card )
The SD-Card has to be Formatted in :
FAT32 or
VFATOn newer Software-Updates for CS 3 / 3+ the "cs3"-directory and 6 Sub-dirctory's is created the first time the SD-Card is inserted into the SD CARD-Slot
SD-Card Updates (
from CS 3 / 3+ Software-version 2.2.0 and forward )
SD-Cards with more "Partitions" is now "supported" correct by CS 3 / 3+ ( CS 3/3+ Software 2.2.0 or higher )
An Update of Data on the SD-Card is now included and will be Started when the CS 3/3+ "detects" that the SD-Card is inserted in the SDCard - Slot
When SD-Card is "inserted" in CS 3/3+ the following File-types will now be Transfered only "during a Online-Update" of the CS 3 / 3+.
The following File-types is copied to the SD-Card during the Online-Update
of the CS 3 / 3+ :
- Image-files ( SVG-Images can be used for Events "Erignisse" )
- Sound ( WAV-files 44.1 HZ Stereo-format to played thru Internal / External Speakers )
When a SD-Card is inserted in a CS 3 / 3+ during a "Online Update" the following happens :
cs3 ( Main-Directory is created )
the following Sub-directory's is created inside the "cs3" Main Directory.
- backup ( Backup-files for your CS 3 / 3+ saved by you
or by the CS 3 / 3+ when an Online-Update is performed )
- lokcvs ( CV-Profiles for Locomotiv-Decoders )
- lokicons ( Loc-icons in 384 x 144 Pixel / PNG file-format )
- magcvs ( CV-Profiles for Magnetartikel-Decoders )
- pics ( Files i SVG-format which can be used for Events "Erignisse" ) - 303 SVG Image-files ( 2 MB ) copied
- wav ( Sound-files in WAV-format 44.1 HZ Stereo is copied to 14 Category-directorys in the in wav-directory ) - 650 Sound-files ( 150 MB ) copied
to support the User's of CS 3 / 3+.
Remember to always "
eject" the SD-Card under the CS 3 / 3+ Systems-Settings before removing the SD-Card. ( Lost som data on the SD-Card because of this )
