Good evening

I am wondering if anyone is aware of a prebuilt level crossing for use with an R1 turn (C-track 24130)

Thanks

Faller or Viessman. However, I have looked at the instructions on the website and I think it shows that one short section of straight track is on both ends of the crossing.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything suitable prebuilt.

It's not what you asked for but, if you know someone with a 3D printer, I have a bunch of very simple ungated crossings in straight, R1 and R2. Also in single and double lane - 56mm and 82mm wide from memory. Some files are already on the forum.

Sort of OK for areas away from the main view - marginally better than a road just leading up to plain track.

Faller 120172 is meant for curved track segments:
https://www.faller.de/en...2/guarded-level-crossing

Faller 120173 can be used for curved track segments (but might look funny if doing so):
https://www.faller.de/en...3/guarded-level-crossing

Here are two 3D-printed solutions (unfortunately only shipping within Germany):

And another 3D solution by Revmox (scroll down ot post #4):

Hello everyone
I have the same issue of level crossing on curves, I would suggest caution concern the faller kit because I understand it does not allow the central studs to show through the crossing to allow current pick up.
I would suggest you look at eBay.de a number of seller have a laser cut central track piece that shows the studs. The rest could be made balsa and painted.

When I used them for both M track and C track the central studs showed through. Here is an excerpt from the manual - filler (part #2/6) marked in blue:

Another alternative is "Viessmann 5102 Gleisfüllstück H0". It is quite cheap and works on curved track, too.

I remember having the Faller kit, the one I had looked very much like the 120172 linked above, and had track inserts for both curved and straight track. The problem I had was not with the studs, but bogie coaches would collide with the crossing gates as they are that close to the track that long wheelbase wagons cannot pass through because of the inner overhang of the wagons.

3.0mm thick Medite (laser quality MDF)? Good luck with the studs.

A German eBay seller offers custom-made fillers for R1 and R2 curves. Unfortunately, he is only shipping within Germany.
