Hello Jim,

the gentleman's name was Josef Danilowatz from Vienna.

Many regards,

Hans
I like M-track and my things that run on it were built between 1959 and 1972.

All English HO catalogs have been uploaded. I have some Z and 1 Gauge catalogs to upload, as well as some other language catalogs.

I've also added some of the old trackplan books.

I've moved the download links to this page.

Glad to be able to repay you in some small way for those fine pictures of yours, Alberto.

You will note that the 1989 through 1993 catalogs are dual English/Italian versions.

Hi Bigdaddy.

That is some collection! You are to be congratulated and thanked profusely.

It took me about three hours to download the 1972 catalogue (admittedly I wasn't at my computer the whole time) only to find that only covered HO scale. I am not prepared to pay €7 only to find that they are all HO only, so can you let me know if any of them include Z scale and, if so, which ones. Also, it would be nice to have a copy of a page including the 2865 HO set, preferably the most recent one, as I have one but don't know when it was produced.

With best wishes,
Chris.

Chris, 1973 through to 1983/84 should include Z gauge. After that, there are some years that have separate Z gauge catalogs, and some that are incorporated with the main catalog. I still have a few 1 gauge and Z gauge specific catalogs to scan - 86/87 and 88/90 in Z, and 87/89 in 1 gauge.

When using Rapidshare, you should not need to pay to use it, when you use the free service, you may have to wait about 30 minutes after finishing one download before starting the next one, but if you are happy with waiting, you can download at no cost.

I've scanned the first four pages of the Primex 1987 catalogue, at 100dpi. The file is on http://files.ww.com/files/58731.html , a zip file containing 4 jpeg files. I'm not too happy about the quality, please let me know what you think...
Also, could somebody convert the images into a pdf file, or is it okay to upload jpeg's ?

Erik, the quality of those jpg files is OK. If you upload all of the jpg files for that catalog, I can convert them to a pdf file for you.

Given that Marklin now have a message on the back of the current (2009/2010) catalog saying that it is a no no to copy in any way the catalog, it might be a while, if ever, before I post a download link for it.

BTW, thanks for the links Eric.

I'm world famous...........in Italy at least!![:I][:I]

I also have some Trix catalogs to post, and I have scanned the 2009/2010 catalogs, but I'm reluctant at this time to post them because of copyright, and because doing so would possibly deny Marklin sales.

I have a few other trackplans books, and if anyone is interested I have the English supplement to the 0700 trackplan book which I could scan if required.

I think that when you get the catalog 2011, you can publish the catalog 2010 without problems.
I will try to ask Marklin

google translation wink

Hi all.

I have just addet a subfolder with scans of old Egger-bahn catalogs.
Egger-bahn was a company that made narrow gauge H0e/009 trains in the 1960´s, it was thougt as a suplement to H0 ore as a layout of it´s owen.

In the good old analog days,Märklin handed out a free booklet on locomotive maintenance,
I have one in Swedish - sorry - wink
I have scanned in here:

http://www.majhost.com/c...in/gallery.cgi?i=2486060

It has some photos and guidelines for the care and maintenance of locomotives, as well as some spare part numbers listed.

Enjoy.
