My latest loco is the Series 18 of the SNCB (Maerklin No. 39403)
Sorry, no pic available so far from my side.
It's a replacement loco already, asthe first one delivered did not run.
But got it replaced by my dealer from Germany per mail within a week.

Congratulation
I must tell, in January I had one E10 (39120) and I asked: which one do you suggest for me to buy.
I put a Loksound decoder in 39123 and it has became a lovely loco.
But, I must say 41274 is great.
You've ordered the set, haven't you?

Hi all,
Bought couple of Loco's of e-bay.
3308 class 85 2-10-2.
and my first non marklin model
Fleischmann P8 class 38.
Both models have some kind of decoder fitted for digital.
Does the P8 drive thro' the tender wheels.

Hi Steven,
moved already on 09-09-09
Since that day I travelled already 11.000 km on the Berlin Warszawa Express. Each trip takes about 5.5 hours for a one way distance of about 575 km.
So the situation at the moment looks like
Mon-Fri Warsaw
Sat-Sun Berlin
But I'm lovin' it

Amazingly well! I didn't have *any* previous experience on these little mice but have heard warnings about their pulling power. It is very silent, the only noise comes from the cars.
I tried with five cars. In the flat part of my layout it doesn't have any kind of problems pulling those, on any speed. No slipping. I also have a lower level which has a 5-6% slope up, and there were no problems either, provided that enough speed was used.
My testing configuration:

These Prussian coaches are great. Unfortunately they are the DRG version. Maybe I could find a couple of the Era I models. They would really be ideal for this loco.

Hi all,
Just back from the Falkirk exhibition, where I met Chris Manvell and we had a blether about his smart Z gauge layout.
Had good look round the traders but NO Marklin, except for one traders
spares or repairs box right at the bottom.
A class 89 and a class 24.
Put some new brushes in them and they both ran OK. (They do need a clean up).Paid £10 for the two of them.
Ian.

Nice to see two old ladies rescued from the "spares box".
Did you find the tender for the Br24? If not I'm sure you can find one on ebay.

Smart buying Ian, they are a nice addition to your roster.
Is that rain I see outside the window? I guess my brother in FW would get it more of it.
Could do with some here.

Ray was correct as tender matching for the BR24.
I have the early FM800 BR24 date 1956.

Sorry, no pic available so far from my side.
It's a replacement loco already, as the first one delivered did not run.
But got it replaced by my dealer from Germany per mail within a week.
And the second one is a desaster as well [:(]
Both locos were returned and I denied the offer of getting a third one sent to me. In that case, there is no new loco 4 me so far [:(]

Hi Ian.
I didn't notice it before, your BR24 has the cylinder box painted in red instead of black, as usual!

Hi Pietro,
Yes,I think the BR24 has had some "cosmetic" work done.
Not sure what you call them on the top of the Loco but they are painted silver, can't be right is it?
