Here are the remaining two coaches from the "pop" set. 4093 4094 The 4093 seems to have a colour variation between the doors and the body, but this is not apparent in the model. Note also the grey bogies on the 4094. |

The doors on 4093 are a separate part as they're designed to slide up. I've never opened them on mine due to the risk of cracking the plastic (I've had Fleischmann and LGB models with this problem on similar parts), but I'd guess that the slightly different material and the fact that they're inset compared to the rest of the side makes them look a slightly different colour. |

Four new caoches added to my collection. When I visited Flaamsbana in Norway on July 23rd this year, I bought four coaches running on that nice line. They are made by NMJ in Norway (they probably get them produced by someone) NMJ 106.401, NSB B3-4 25663 NMJ 106.402, NSB B3-4 25652 NMJ 106.403, NSB BF3-5 25584 NMJ 106.404, NSB BF3-4 25537 They run perfect with Roco 11mm AC wheels and M# 70163 close couplers. Now only two green El17 locos are missing, one with and one without motor. See http://www.saebonet.com/Svein/Tog/Sites/Misc/Berekvam.htm |

Collected my 42269 insider set yesterday. Since my BR 39 is still waiting for spareparts or replacement (according to the site of the repairer/importer in the Netherlands) I used my BR 01 150 to pull the train. |

The Hapag set looks great Davy, and Ray I love those pop coloured coaches.
Nice looking train, Piet, to use with the Br39. I opted for a set of 'Umauwagens' for my Br39, I should have them in a week or two.

OK. You want piccies? You'll get piccies - sometime over the weekend. I haven't got a layout at the moment, but I'll see what I can do. In the meantime, here's the first loco I bought... Enjoy! |

OK, the pictures are a bit (lot) rubbish - I'll make a better effort next time and think about perspective more, but here you go: I'll do better in future - when they're 'on the rails'! And I'm definitely going to buy a macro lens! Pete |

I took the plunge and ordered my first new Marklin ERA V coaches, the Interregio 43500, 43501, and will order the 43550 control car as well. These 27cm coaches are more suited to my small layout.
I don't have much ERA V motive power, so at first these coaches will be pulled by my Br185 Hobby loco. I'm not sure this is prototypical, though. What loco would be most accurate? |

Hi Ray, Considering they are from DB Regio; probably you can try BR218, BR110, BR111 or BR143. With the TRAXX models - they mostly use BR146 (model similar to 185 save for the destination board mounted at top of the windscreen) - but these mostly pull bi-level coaches. |
