This log, which records events and messages during operation, can be used for remote diagnosis (directory: mDecoderTool3_Logging, path: environment variables TEMP or TMP) Modified: - The decoder information in the "Information about Decoder" dialog has been grouped according to decoder hardware and decoder firmware Improvement: - The selection of a central station as a programming path has been revised, improved, and optimized to include all stations when multiple networks are set up on one computer and when switching between central stations if there are several to choose from - In the format settings, mfx and mfx+ can now also be switched on/off - The decoder information about whether RailCom is supported is only displayed if, in addition to the decoder hardware, the decoder firmware also supports RailCom - Revised, standardized, and renamed some CV designations, texts, terms, and expressions in mDecoderTool3 and the decoder templates - The mDecoderTool3 includes the latest FTDI CDM driver 2.12.36.20 for the decoder programmer, which is installed during installation - The mDecoderTool3 includes the latest MSVC2010 SP1 Redistributable Package. If it is not already installed, it will start the installation if necessary Bugfix: - Changes in the decoder project could be lost if the project file mdtp was blocked and could not be written when saving - When converting projects, the 'old' CV values but the 'new' block IDs must be transferred in the data structure (fds) - With the flag "Open the last project when starting" in the program settings, the last opened project was only opened when clicking on the start board button "Open an existing project" instead of when the program started, as expected - When deleting an action in mapping, everything must be removed in the background, i.e. action condition and trigger. Lautsprecher_Parameter/ Lautsprecher_Parameter/slotpar.cs2 Lautsprecher_Parameter/Neutral_16kHz/ Lautsprecher_Parameter/Neutral_16kHz/Neutral_16kHz_reg.dsm It showed up a few weeks ago and I removed them, but now it’s come back empty again. The program still won’t open in two separate windows I haven’t had the chance to check if it still crashes when CS3 is closed while the program is still running. It seems more like an update in preparation for the mLD3.5 and mSD3.5 decoder releases, but there are no Equalizer settings available for sound decoders. Maybe something will happen soon with a CS3 update.

Joined: 04/08/2018(UTC) Posts: 1,306		Thanks :) Had a quick look and, when I made a quick mSD3.5 project, and it returned an error when the size was above 64Mbit.....? could be that it's just an error and will be fixed in a later update? and in a config file, the mSD3.5 are ID'd as a mSD4. wonder what the new funtion "Derailleur flash" does?

Not sure if this applies to those empty files but they are usually created in anticipation of something being placed in them and then able to easily find them. People always forget that computers are really stupid and without very clear directions on where to find what they are looking for they are unlikely to find it.
