Hi guys, it's been a while!

I got the Märklin Mikado New York Central (37970) and was wondering is there a trick for the front NEM pocket? It is positioned too high and I'd like to put a standard short coupler to it. I don't know what standard it conforms to, but it's clearly at a wrong height for normal Märklin operation.

Bought this second hand in original box, but the manual was missing.

Best regards,

-Eino

Hello Eino, Is that locomotive a Marklin/BLI cooperation item?

Sorry, but I can't think of a fix for that height problem other than something custom printed for that.
Regards,
Jim

I have almost all Märklin and mostly HO, although I do have a small number of Z gauge trains!
So many trains and so little time.
