I get the capacitor 1500uF to charge U-/U+ but the decoder dies immediately when the power goes off. Joined: 04/08/2018(UTC) Posts: 1,156		Perhaps you also need a capacitor on the +5v for the decoder processor. ? I have not used capacitors on old mLD but only used them on mSD and as you also noticed it works fine.

Like I mentioned the powerpack works with the same generation of mSD decoder. Yes the question are, and I will try decoder with circuit board later to see if the +5 capacitors will do the magic By the way how do you know its +5 on the board ?
