Dear Märklin friends

i do need again your help, becasue I have to inspect a DT 800 and I don't know how to take off the chassis. It worked fine for many monthes, since I bought it through E-bay, but now the Pefekt reverse is not working and the Pantographs seem unable to take currrent. So the first I need to do is to open the chassis, but I don't know yet how to do that. Then what about the Perfekt not working with the 280 Märklin Super? and how may i sort the Oberleitung issues? Best regards!

The overhead issue - I would suspect the lever you toggle to switch between pickup shoe and overhead has been knocked and is not connecting to either item - easily done without noticing when handling the loco.

Hi Stefano
To remove the body, you have only one large screw to remove (located underneath near the rear of the loco
Here is a picture of my DL800 with same structure

I hope this helps
