I am rewiring the motor drive on the turntable. The old wires that connect the motor and solenoid are not there any more, so I am trying to figure out where to solder each wire. Can anyone help, please?

That's nice, would you care to share with the forum what you did (photos are even better)?

There's no such thing as a Marklin turntable under the article number 6651, maybe you have a Marklin 7286 which is the 3 rail version of the Fleischmann 6651.

FleischmannWiring.jpgThe turntable is made by Fleischmann and I have the Marklin (3-rail) as well as the Fleischmann versions. In both cases the item number on the manual is 6651 or 6651C. I found a circuit diagram from 1989 but I can't figure out how to include a picture of it here.

Ahhh.. Your first test grasshopper.

Regards,
Jim

I have almost all Märklin and mostly HO, although I do have a small number of Z gauge trains!
So many trains and so little time.

Edit the message (or start another), then click on the paper-clip icon and follow the prompts to find the photos on your PC and upload

(No point re-inventing the wheel!)

It was very helpful. My biggest issue was figuring out the distance to the turntable center of each electrical wiper, but the whole thing worked once I soldered new wires and repaired a cut in the solenoid wires. I installed it and it is now earning its keep on my switchable 3-rail & 2-rail layout where I run Hornby Dublo trains using Marklin K-track.
