Just a thought, I have a 7186 and a spare m83 decoder.
My EcOS has the possibility to control a turntable which I have
enabled in one of the layout diagrams.
Will the m83 pilot the 7186 roundtable via the EcOS?
After all it has to give the initial impulse to the motor as the turntable is powered by a white transformer.
Just a thought
Marco

Hi Marco
The 7186 needs:
- a switch (like 84) to set the direction by sending a +16VAC (L) to one of the extremity plugs
- an impulse to set the TT in motion by connecting the center plug to +16VAC (L)
Note: the other ends of the Solenoid and the motor are connected to the ground (0) This is the separate plug on the TT
So in short, the best is to use an M84 (2 outputs)
Cheers
Jean

this may help:

The switching module I used is similar to the '84 items from Märklin

Intellibox + own software, K-Track
