I was curious about the flickering light fix for the 3090 decoder mentioned below. I think mine has a 3080 decoder and it must be an early version as quite a few of the electrical bits are quite large.
Is there a fix for this flickering?

Hi Derek,

The decoder you have is a 6080, and it has the same driving characteristics as a delta because it is the same design in its motor output.

The light bulbs would need to be replaced to have a ground wire rather than grounding through the chassis, then follow modification 2 on the following website https://www.pallund.dk/convert2.htm

Cheers....

Mike

Thanks Mike. Yes 6080. I put 3080 by mistake. Thanks for that. I will check it out. Might have time to look at it a bit later. Have many jobs to do around the house, not that I have been greatly motivated on some days.
All the best
