Hi all members, I’m starting a layout and I want to be able to run three different trains. My question is how do I install the Märklin 8954 isolators ?
Thank you and my regards.

Thank you Frank, I will star the new layout very soon, will be a big one ( 4 by 16 feet ) and will take me a lot of time.

Thank you, regards,

There is a small metal pin which retains the metal joiner. It's fitted into the underside of the rail and goes through the metal joiner and into the plastic sleeper (tie) moulding. In order to remove the pin you must prise the sleeper down away from the rail which exposes it. the pin can then be removed using a suitable pair of pliers then the joiner can be drawn along the axis of the rail and the insulated joiner fitted.
