Hej

I want to install digital telex couplers E 117 993 in a (selfmade) locomotive, and to connect them to an ESU lokpilot V4.0 (F1 and F2). Is a resistance in the circuit(s) needed ? Confused

Best regards
Søren

Hi Søren

I use the same telex coupler with Märklin loco decoder, and for the telex output, I use the dim function with 100 (out of 256 power range)
I further limit the time to 9 seconds. All this is done with a CS2. I don't think a resistor would help much.
Probably the same is feasible with your ESULokpilot.
Good luck

Jean
