Hi all. While we are on the subject of track here is one for you. This is a 2ft plus 2ft-6in gauge dual track which enters a loop at the end of the run so the 2ft gauge has to swap sides in the loop. The best part is that it is about 3 miles from my home and has Mallet tank locos plus many visiting locos including a Darjeeling Himalaya loco ! During most running sessions up to 18 locos can be in steam. Here's a video of the line. Another loco from the line is this which could be called a monster or mutation. Standard gauge vertical boilered loco. Regards, Colin.

It looks to me like a previous bridge has been washed away, as it appears to be sitting on concrete piers. I suspect that someone then figured the distance between the piers was such that an old railway coach made a nice cheap replacement bridge.
