Hi everyone, I have this old loco that has been upgraded to digital and it has the old couplers and I need help and advice on how to convert them to the new couplers.    Can anyone help? Regards Greg |

Hi!
You can use Märklin 404020 coupler pockets. I had to cut off the springs from the 404020 to make it fit (the loco truck frame already had springs to keep the coupler straight - like your truck frame).
You can use Märklin close couplers or Roco Universal couplers (or others) with these NEM pockets. |

Oh goody, I have a number of Primex locos that I want to do the same to because they have the same couplings without loops. Does the same coupler pocket fit these? Do you have a photo of a coupling conversion Tom? Alan
