An outsider. I'm looking for the owner of that horse. He's tall, blonde, he smokes a cigar, and he's a pig!

All these wonderful locs are making me drool like a baby teething!
I was searching on Ebay Germany for "krokodil" locs and came across a Marklin 3556 Croc- article number is 320065520935. What an awesome looking reptile! A *tad* to expensive for me at this point.
Does anyone here have a 3556 that they can comment on? What else, besides the body color, makes it special? I want to know more as I will put this bad boy on my list!!!
Jim

Ok I know this is an HO thread but as it is the popular hang out for crocs and alligators I though I would just share with you my new, long awaited, arrival: The new 55562 sitting with its baby brothers 39560 and 39561 I have not run the beaut as yet as my carpet layout had to be uplifted when our Miss 18 returned from uni for Christmas - she need her room back But once I get it going I will post a pic ture or two in the 1 Gauge section. The detail is amazing and a great model - lets hope it does not have any lemon properties [:0] Edited by moderator 11 January 2011 21:01:37(UTC)

Wow Tony. With failing eyesight should I sell up HO and move on upwards. If I sell all my HO can I afford one big loco some track and a contoller. If I buy a new loco every five years by the time I am 160 years old I will have a fab collection.
Congratulations on a real beauty

Nice idea, David. But no need for selling our excellent controllers - they're good for big scale, too [^] |

Hi guys Thanks for the comments. As mentioned hopefully in week or two I can post some more info/pics in the One Guage section - got to set up the carpet layout again Almagik- Funny enough my wife is amazing with all this stuff and actually really liked this model - in particular so it gets the prime spot . David - go for one gauge if you have heaps of space - and collect slowly - There have been amazing specials over the past years on one gauge although still a bit pricey. Anyway this Croc has blown my budget for 2007 - I think????? Hey Per those creatures are scary and ugle- this is a thing of beauty - stay away from Sarcosuchus or Deinosuchus |

Tony. What sort of space is reasonable for gauge 1. I have available about 18 feet x 8 feet(sorry still in feet and inches ) Although a good size it sometimes seems too small for HO as I like to see trains disappear into the distance. As John says we can still retain our controllers but then Locos, coaches, track, buildings etc would take a few thousand euros. Maybe in 3/4 years if I am still around it will be time to change.

€359 is a lot of money for 39223.
Blue Gators about €300 (not c-shine).
I paid €255 for 39223 last early 2004. |
