Is that true Lutz? Will they stop producing the old c-sine motors? It is not my statement,i have read it some time ago here in this forum,i really do not know if it is right or wrong. I do not have an mfx c-sine for two reasons: -I want to be tested by other members for a long time(personally i suspect that are excellent motors, but i would like you to answer me that question:Why the changed the excellent fx c-sine for the mfx one)? -There are many previous models that i must have so the new ones can wait.
I am referring to HO krokodil.

Hi John, I've seen that one on the web too. Supposedly it's possible SBB CARGO wil send this loc on the tracks for a promotion tour. This is however unconfirmed.I'll try and have look on some related sites wether I can find some more on that topic. Here's another link where I've seen your loc too: http://stummi.foren-city...klin-neuheiten-2007.htmlKind regards Guus |

Lots of evidence for a fake [}:)]: Just look at the windowglass - it became "blue" by photoshopping ... And towards the roof the "blue" of the shell changes to "green" Still more: left handrail is drawing "blue/green", the right one becomes "brownish" - instead of "yellow" |

Hi Panayotis, For what it's worth,I took some pictures of my 39561 showing there is a plastic window installed above the roadnumber. It is a small piece which ,I imagine ,could easily be hidden somewhere inside your loco. I'm wondering have you opened the housing already and checked whether it's fallen off and lying somewhere inside the loco? Hope this helps. Kind regards Guus |

Did I ever mention my collection of Crocs, Gators or what we like to call them?
26730, a nice set 3300, got them one year ago 3656, my first 37292, does it qualify? 39221, my first c-sine 39561, my latest
I remember my first and only encounter with a live one (87/1) in 1974. I was standing on the platform on Winterthur station in Switzerland when a green one came passing by, only three meters away from me. The platform was vibrating as it passed by. Later on I have only seen a museum loco some times, in "Verkehrshaus der Schweiz" in Luzern. |

After serious consideration i concluded that the GG-1 is not a gator. The loco must have a symmetrical and articulated body so as to be able to produce the gator "effect" which can be seen at Alberto's video. If you call the GG-1 gator then you must also call the taurus as well. |

I couldn't resist and adopted a crippled crocodile at the end of her life, shunting at the Bahnhof: The poor crocodile lost a pantograph, because of the 'funkantenna' that was placed on top and it received some conversions such as different lighting and a platform for the shunting staff. It is a special series by Roco for Switzerland only. http://www.roco-schweiz.ch/roco/?PGS=41&PG=41The model is very detailed, there is only one drawback. The lights on this loc are not functional (they are just inlays, contrary to what the picture suggests). Strange decision by Roco... I hope the driving characteristics are very good (as I have been told). Regards, Steven |

Got my third Croc back today. A brown 3352 I got in new condition from Ks1200. Had it converted and it runs great. I have done several conversions but my guy in Cheyenne is so reasonable on labor I don't see the point in risking blowing a decoder. My other two are a 39560 and a 3022 converted with a 60904 high eff. kit. Also have a half Croc 3001 which was the second Marklin loco I got about 1960 when I was young(10) and lived in Lausaunne for 1 + years. Had a large analog layout in the 80's and put it up for about 20 yrs. Have all loks converted now and planning a large M track layout when I move next year. My first was a 3024 which is in fine shape converted. Eric
