Thankyou Alberto for those photos of the Nurnberg trade show.
Very interesting.
Anyone have a link to "My World", I can't seem to find it?

Well, thinking about it, these boxes will allmost match the old Primex colour, and if it targeted at supermarkets and toyshops, like Primex did, it might be a good idea, aimning at the next generation. It would be nice if kids got to play with trains again, not only Nintendos.

Thanks for sharing the picures from the show with AlbertoThumpUp Keep them coming

Good in a way to have clear distinction between those intended as entry level models and the more expensive detailed, professional models.

At least now, they have a new name. Previously we only referred these models with their informal "hobby" monicker.

50 Euro ICE set looks aweful... gosh, it even got it's own "power on" button on top of the cab.

Ok, so it's probably the cheapest thing I've seen from Marklin, and contain C-tracks (prob the most valuable items in the set).

Now collecting C-Sine models.

Hmmm. I got a bit more interested now after seeing the picture. My old 3005 is in very bad condition and it´s my 2nd steam loco ever. But I´m not that rich that I can order whatever I want. Propably it will be the 37629 instead.

Please note: the famous "handmade sample" uses a Roco loco frame with Roco wheels and Roco steering (with moving valve bar).
I presume the final model will have Märklin wheels and Märklin steering (probably without moving valve bar (never saw that with a Märklin H0 model)).

Hopefully Ray, we will still see the likes of the Br03 Streamlined loco sets being broken up by ebay dealers, so that we can both buy just the red one. But, it wouldn't surprise me if Marklin attempts to stop that sort of behaviour.

Ebay dealers will do it anyway, I think.

I'm pretty sure Marklin doesn't want dealers to sell items from starter sets seperately either. We all know it happens.

I will keep an eye on Johnvandamme. I've bought split items from him before.

Edit: I just checked his site, and for some reason he states he does not deliver to Gibraltar. I've bought stuff from him before, so I wonder what's changed?

Edit: I just checked his site, and for some reason he states he does not deliver to Gibraltar. I've bought stuff from him before, so I wonder what's changed?

Same here. I bought stuff from him too, and for some reason, he changed his shipping policy, and not sending to New Zealand anymore.

I noticed that on some items it still says "worldwide", whereas on others he has a long list of exceptions. I might take Juhan's advice and ask him.

Does anyone know the difference between the 37627 Am 842 I've just pre-ordered and the 37643 from 2006?

Thanks! Don't see why this small change justifies a new catalogue number?

Might be that the 37627 is a model of the newer upgraded version of the Am 842. Compare the bogie details and also a change in colour at the front, the yellow and black chevron warning paint.

Thanks Marius.

I hadn't noticed those detail differences.
