I have 11 models of the NSB Di3 locomotives, which have been used for many years by NSB.
Now they are out of service, partly sold to other train companies.
In addition i have two Danish and two Swedish models.
This includes the Demonstrator, which was used by NoHAB
in several countries in Europe
(mainly in Norway), before it ended up as NSB Di
3.602.
In addition I have two Danish and one Swedish, all three sre (A1A')(A1A)', Same
as NSB Di3b.
NoHAB means "Nydqvist och Holm AB", a technical production company in Trollhättan, Sweden, founded
by Mr. Nydqvist and Mr. Holm in 1920. They started to make the famous
diesel locomotive in the 950's, under licence from the Electro-Motive Division
of General Motors. They unfortunately the company was closed in 1986.

The NSB Di 3a (3.602 - 3.633) have axle arrangement Co'Co'.
The NSB Di 3b (3.641 - 3.643), the NoHABs from DSB and the Strukton model have axle arrangement,
(A1A')(A1A)', as the centre axle of each bogie has no traction motor.

This locomotive ran in many countries as a Demonstrator for NOHAB, factory
number 2246, until purchased by NSB in 1957, ref. Märklin 37686
Märklin 37686,NSB Di3a 3.602:
This locomotive ran in many countries as a Demonstrator for NOHAB, factory
number 2246, until purchased by NSB in 1957, ref. Märklin 37665
This means that the Märklin models 37665 and 37686 are two different versions of
the same locomotive.
37665 was while the locomotive was a demonstrator, 37686 was he NSB version,
after modifications.
