Hi!

I only have one Italian dialogue. Maybe the community can provide more.

Dialogue #1:
"sono" should come after the second number and there should be a full stop at the end.
It seems they have the same error in several languages (Italian, Swedish, French - maybe more).

Hi Tom,

I do not have a CS2, but could give a hand if Italian screenshots are provided.

Cheers

Thanks for that offer. If Märklin is open for suggestions, I may get back to you.

I am actually seriously thinking about suggesting that this international forum should go into a cooperation with M to sort out their language problems in products...

Am I asking too much?

Dialogue #2:
The Italian keyboard.
The "é" key produces "è" characters and there are two keys for "§".

Dialogue #4:
The long Italian text causes the horizontal scrollbar to appear which in turn causes the vertical scrollbar to also show.
The important information is now hidden.

So a much shorter Italian phrase (with abbreviations maybe) would be needed here.

I find the combination "Giorno", "Giorno", and "Notte" irritating.
What do native Italian speakers think about it?

The new setup tab "empo Modell".
Is "Modello" with upper-case "M" correct in "Ora di inizio Modello"?

Hi Tom,

Here there are my corrections:

Dialogue #2:

The simbol over the number 3 must be the simbol £ (Pound)
At the right of letter P on top the symbol must be é (with the SHIFT key) and on the bottom the symbol must be è (without the SHIFT key)
At the right of letter L on top the symbol must be ç (with the SHIFT key) and on the bottom the symbol must be ò (without the SHIFT key)
The symbol § is at the correct place

This is the standard Italian keyboard layout

Cheers

Renato

Dialogue #3:

Daten: Dati:
Sichern Salvataggio (Backup)
Wiederherstellen Ripristino (Restore)
Update: Aggiornamento:
Netz Rete (Network)
Sound: Suono:
Update Aggiornamento
Neustart Riavvio
Beenden Fermata (Stop)

For some words it could be better to use the English translations as they are common in Information Technology environment.

I am not able to translate the 2 "FS" over "0" red circled (I do not know their use).

Maybe for the a.m. terms it could be better to use the verb instead of the noun.

Now I go to sleep and will continue tomorrow

Cheers

Renato

My suggestion is Modo (for Giorno e Notte) as the first Giorno should refer to the background brightness.

So Giorno has a brighter screen and Notte the opposite.

Cheers

Renato

Hi, Renato,

The "FS" stands for speed step. The number showing next to the green speed bar is subject to perpetual changes.
IIRC it used to be a percent value, then changed to prototype speed, and now it shows speed steps.

I hope they make it adjustable with the next release. I like to be able to see the speed steps, but many others want the scale speed back.
Regards
Tom
