Hello group,

I do not have any PC with floppy drive or serial port.
I have PC with XP, Locobuffer and USB to Serial convertor from ZIMO; convertor works with out any problem with ZIMO MX1, ZIMO decoder programmer, LENZ LI101F. I did not try this adapter yet with Intellibox. But I’m planning to do it soon with RR&CO.
Is there any communication software available (like ZIMO service tool or LENZ software for LI-USB) for Intellibox?

Do I have chance to upload 1.55 to Intellibox with equipment I have. Is anybody did it here? If it is possible please provide step by step instruction.

I ended up buying a USB floppy drive to get it working... There is another thread here.. Have a look at this one https://www.marklin-user...ault.aspx?g=posts&t=5032


I strongly recommend trying the USB->serial adaptor with the computer before upgrading as any communications failure could corrupt the IB code.. I had to buy two before I found one that was reliable.

I really suggest that you find a friend with an older computer that has a serial port and a floppy drive..

You can boot DOS from USB memory stick or CD-R. I don't know if your USB to COM adapter will work in DOS mode.
