Has any body using the Loksound Programmer 53451 with latest version V2.6.5 been able to upload a sound profile to a loco? The upload gets to the first bar & stops & tells me it that there is an error uploading the image. I have uninstalled & reinstalled. Prior to an upload it asks for a firmware update. Is this all normal or do I have a big problem. Note: never had any problems with the old V2.6.3.version [xx(]

Hi Dave,

Seems like you're experiencing a similar problem as I have. Which firmware version does your programmer have?

Hello Pal & Sander, many thanks for prompt reply. The firmware is LokProgrammer Firmware 0.0.1447. I have two hard drives, one has the latest version V2.6.5 & the other the V2.6.3. I can operate with no problem on the older version, so I can only come to the conclusion that the V2.6.5 version is corrupt & I hope that ESU sort it out quick smart. It is tarnishing their reputation as I know a few of the Marklin Users-net readers were contemplating buying one & I still despite this small hick-up encourage them to do so. Another alarming incident that I noticed happened in the process of the upload to the first notch when it won't go any further & by that I mean the first 45 seconds, I observed on getting the programmer to read the decoder, my original version that was on the loco before was wiped & another profile was in its place ( not the one I wanted) & that you could operate the loco on address 03. Have any of you had that happen before?

Hi Dave,

It might be that you jump to conclusions somewhat too easily, as V2.6.5. in combination with firmware 0.0.1444 works fine. The problem is probably a little bit more complex. (See my new post in the other thread)

However, of course I also hope the problem will be solved shortly... wink

Sander, the problem is the r8b.dll. I cannot move the file to My documents as the r8b.dll.is missing. this might be a part of the problem.
