I came across a Marklin 6153 30VA Transformer (metal case) in very fine condition. By all indications, it was well cared for or saw little use. I wired it up to an oval of C track and ran a 3034 locomotive for a few laps. No issues other than the pulse from the transformer to reverse direction is extremely strong. Is this typical for these old transformers or is there some servicing or component that needs to be replaced?
