Hi guys,
Have a new issue, bought another roco vt98 , pfff im so unlucky.

The loco doest runat all and the lights are flickering

Any idea what the issue is? Maybe the previous owner put it on analog and destroyed the decodor?

Some first questions:
- do the mechanics spin freely?
- what type of motor?
- does it get voltage from the pickup slider?
- does it have continuity between its two contacts?
- does it spin if voltage applied directly there (no decoder attached)?
